Advantages of Hoplite Boats

Why a Fiberglass Tournament Pro over the typical aluminum Jon boat?

  • Largest forward casting platform (room for two)
  • All storage lockable & gasketed
  • More cubic feet of storage
  • More rod capacity (easily accessible without stacking rods)
  • Unitized construction - Hull, decking, stringer fiberglassed together, no bolts, screws or rivets

Same unitized construction allows for lighter weights than most equivalently equipped aluminum boats allowing for more speed per horsepower.

Center console design provides for 360° fishability, passage of two people at the same time from bow to stern. Weight distribution - centered, fuel tank centered and forward.

Fiberglass hull design with large reversed chines and 64" bottom with provide great stability, yet allowing for a modified V to cut through chop and stop plowing effect of most flat bottom aluminum boats. While cutting through that 2' chop the wide bow flare ensures you a dry ride.
