Design:
The Hoplite's unique design sets it apart from any skiff or aluminum
jon boat design. The "multi-step V lift pad" provides
advantages of both V hull and flat bottom. The "V lift pad"
widens from bow to stern, getting the boat upon plane quickly and
then steps down the wetted surface allowing less water friction
and more speed. The V forward combined with bow flare and reverse
chines provides a dry, smooth ride in a stiff chop and extreme responsiveness
in a hard turn. Shallow draft.

Construction:
All components are fiberglassed into one unit. Deck to hull is joined
mechanically, and 5200 bonded and then fiberglassed. Hi Tech materials
and assembly provide for weights almost half of aluminum boats.
Carpet or textured gel coat decking. No materials will ever rot.
